About us
Established in 1975, Grampian is now a leading housing association based in the North East of Scotland. Through direct development and stock transfer, the Association now provides services to over 3,500 households.
Independently and through a variety of partnerships, homes are provided to meet the housing needs of a wide range of client groups, including single people, couples, families, older people and people with special needs.
Our overall strategy is to develop sustainable communities, with a balance of tenure types. As well as providing quality affordable homes for rent, the Association participates in Low Cost Home Ownership initiatives including shared ownership, shared equity and Help to Buy. Grampian has also developed a number of Lead Tenancies targeted at providing housing for homeless people.
Grampian Housing Association is registered as a Registered Social Landlord (RSL) with the Scottish Government under the Housing (Scotland) Act 2001. It is a Registered Scottish Charity (No. SC042023). The Association is also registered with the Financial Conduct Authority under the Co-operative and Community Benefit Societies Act 2014 and the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000.
The Association is a non-profit making organisation, headed by a voluntary Board of Management whose members come from the community and tenants. Serving on the Board is voluntary and unpaid. Membership of the Association is available to tenants, sharing owners and others.
Subsidiaries
Through its subsidiary, Let's Choose, properties for market and mid-market rent are offered to provide an affordable housing solution for people who do not buy a property or who have low priority for social housing.
TLC Housing Maintenance (TLC) is also a subsidiary of Grampian Housing Association. Established in 2017, TLC is installing new kitchens and bathrooms in line with the Association’s aim to improve and maintain standards in tenants’ homes.
